Why plan another boring hotel meeting when you can host your next corporate event or outing learning the world's oldest team sport. Understand first hand why so many corporate executives and entrepreneurs take up the sport of polo for recreation or compete competitively. Executives, such as former Amway CEO, Steve Van Andel to media mogul, Peter Brant are gifted players and patrons, as well as other historic figures and celebrities, including Walt Disney, R.R. McCormick, Sylvester Stallone, Bill Wrigley, Teddy Roosevelt, and many many others.

A polo clinic at the Oak Brook Polo Academy provides your clients and coworkers with a truly unique and unforgettable experience (NO PREVIOUS RIDING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY). Guests will not only walk away happy, but having learned and experienced the thrill, culture and lifestyle of this unique sport.
THE EXPERIENCE
TRANSPORTATION | ARRIVAL
Whether you and your guests are driving individually, carpooling or prefer another means, such as by luxury vehicle or helicopter, the Oak Brook Polo Academy will coordinate your travel needs to and from the Academy. As you and your guests arrive, they will be humbly welcomed by a member of our staff and escorted to our field where they will check-in with Academy staff and be greeted by Club's Managing Director and Academy's Head Instructor, followed by a glass of chill Champagne and light hors d'oeuvres until all remaining clinic guests arrive.
MEET & GREET
Following everyone's arrival and check-in, which will also include the mandatory signing of equine releases, guests will be officially greeted by the Club's Managing Director and/or Academy Director and walk everyone through the day's itinerary. This will be followed by an equipment fitting to help guests select their boots and helmet. It will also be where guests will receive their very own name embroidered jersey.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
While a photographer can be present to capture the days activities (optional), following the Meet & Greet, Academy staff will take individual and group photos of your guests, with and without polo gear, that can be printed and framed and/or shared with friends, family and other coworkers via there phones or social media for all to see.
POLO CLINIC
Following photos, the Head Instructor will re-gather everyone for an introductory polo presentation that walks guests through the sport's history, the Oak Brook Polo Club, rules and regulations, equine safety and clinic proceedings. The entire group will begin with a foot mallet lesson followed by a rotational clinic divided into groups of 2, 3, 4 or 5 depending on the overall group's size. Groups will rotate between between three 20 min stations where they will learn a variety of polo disciplines from proper riding to tacking a horse.
LUNCH | DINNER
After the clinic, guests will be allowed to change and freshen up before that afternoon's lunch or dinner. The meal with begin with drinks and light hors d'oeuvres, followed by a white linen or picnic style Argentine ASADO bbq, which includes an assortment of grilled meat, baguettes, chimichurri sauce, empanadas, chips and pico de Gallo, and desert. The Academy will coordinate with you to identify any meal that meets the groups culinary preference.
THANK YOU | DEPARTURE
At the conclusion of the event, the Head Instructor will thank everyone for attending, walk them through the Academy's curriculum and invite interested guests to contact them for private or group lessons. Guests will then receive gift bags which will include Oak Brook Polo Club | Academy swag and other sponsor and corporate host gifts.
